Lasting relationships, fulfilling relationships, have the characteristic of intimacy. This is what holds it together, this is what allows us to grow, to navigate the journey of life with someone, to deal with issues and problems, and to feel the love and closeness that we desire.

We get very little education for this, the most important part of life. And we’re expected to just get it right and make it happen. We know this doesn’t work.

So how do we do it differently, how do we create a relationship that gives us what we’d like, where we can express ourselves, love and be loved, have fun, explore sex and pleasure, and all the other aspects of life we’d like to?
