LESSONS IN SACRED SEXUALITY 4

Empty yourself, she said.
Before you look at me
Empty yourself
Before you touch me
Empty yourself
Before you kiss me
Empty yourself
For from the place within you
The place beneath
What you think you know
Of pleasure
The place of what you desire
From pleasure
The place of wanting
Of needing
Me
To be something
To feel something
Empty yourself
Of everything other than
Presence
Love
This sacred intimate moment
And all that it holds
Its mystery
And the knowing
That from the trembling stillness
From the quiet pulsation
It shall arise
It shall guide us
It shall take us
On a wave
Of Divine energy
As we swim
In the universal ocean
Of sensation
Feeling the mystical strands
Of the web
Of the Goddess
Of pleasure.

Our sex, our touch, our pleasure has so many dimensions.
One of the these is the conscious and subconscious intentions we bring to our experiences. And an element, a strong element of this is our need for our partner’s to be a certain way, react in a certain way, respond in a certain way.
We bring such elements of control, which come from places deep inside of us, that we know, that we don’t.
For many men the desire, as important as it is, to make you come, comes from a place of control, of needing to be valued, even of fear, of not being good enough,
We touch, we kiss, to evoke a response, too make something happen, to make you feel something.
We need to make it.
We don’t know how to allow it, to, not even allow, the words we use here are important, surrender to the present.
Surrender to the sensations, the feelings, the energy, to everything that’s in the moment.
And for it to take us where it will.

For this, we empty ourselves.
Of expectations, of patterning, of conditioning.
Of belief, of the past.
And to learn to be a lover, a Lover.
A Lover in the moment, in each moment, with you.
And each moment is a world, a lifetime.

Touching with, touching from.
Kissing with, kissing from.
Entering your body.
Your body welcoming me.
From the open space, the empty space, is where it becomes a prayer, worship.
Where the body’s holy altar is known in sacred union.
Where the portal of our sex opens to draw us in, down, through the mystery of sacred YoniLingam, into the darkness of knowing.
Into the light of love.

Empty yourself.
And come to me to be filled.
Join with me, in union, to be filled.
Not to make me anything other than I am, all I am, in this moment, and the next.
To be as the earth, as the wind, as the fire, as the water.
To dance in the ether, to dance together, in all that we are.
Again and again, in the field of the limitless possibility of sacred pleasure.
