Expanded Energy Orgasm is an experience of sexual energy, of a deep state of pleasure, of intimacy and of presence.
It’s an experience to share with your partner, and on your own.
For many of us sex is a goal-oriented experience, which is mostly contractive, and short-lived. The goal is orgasm, and short–lived, meaning that the orgasm lasts maybe 20 or 30 seconds. One of my teachers, Vera Bodansky, called this a crotch-sneeze.
Expanded Energy Orgasm shows us how to be in an orgasmic state, which we can experience for over an hour, even longer. This allows us to feel, to ride waves of pleasure energy within us, that fills the entire body.
It’s also about experiencing pleasure in a relaxed space, rather than the tightness of the body, which is what a ‘traditional’ orgasm does. This allows us to be in the space for an extended time.
At the moment in the world, which is filled, with contraction, disconnect, and isolation, this is so important, to be able to relax, to release. When we can do this with the energy of pleasure there are enormous health benefits, to our body, heart and nervous system.
There is such purpose to pleasure beyond orgasm, and the chase of orgasm, the pressure and performance this often brings. When we expand, we’re going to use that word lots, when we expand our perspective on pleasure, on sexual energy, we see more of the purpose and possibility of pleasure, and the amazing energy we have within us.
Along with all that deep stuff it’s also an experience of delicious sensation, pleasure, intimacy and connection.

Jonti Searll is a Conscious Sexuality Teacher living in South Africa. I’ve been teaching for over 20 years.
