Stay In Your Body

Our body is an intelligence, a consciousness, an awareness.

It’s in the body and it is the body.

To be with it, to experience it, to feel it, we need to learn to stay in the body.

We need to establish a relationship, a connection with our body.

It’s an intimacy with our body, an intimacy beyond words, beyond thought, beyond the mind.

It’s a quiet knowing.

It speaks to us in the silence, in the stillness.

It has a language we learn in this space.

We learn it in movement, in touch.

We learn it in the space between breaths.

We learn it in the endless space within us.

It’s a connection that is a connection to life through the elements within us that are the elements of the stars.

It’s presence, it brings us into presence.

To experience it we need to learn to stay in the body.

Distraction draws us out of the body, easily, swiftly.

It draws us to explanation, to analysis, to thought, to the wandering mind running in its loops.

It draws us out of ourselves, away from ourselves.

It draws us away from the stillness.

It draws us away from peace.

It draws us away from consciousness.

It draws us away from resonance.

Slowly we come back to the body.

Gently, quietly.

We breath ourselves into ourselves.

Down deep inside.

Home.

And we learn to stay in our body a little longer.

And every part of our body, every cell, begins to vibrate at a different frequency.

There’s more light, there’s a lightness of being.

There’s more space in the space within us.

And there’s more space in the space around us.

There’s more light in the space around us.

And the light that dances unseen from our eyes, that’s in the air around us, that mystical light reaches out to us.

In that moment there is a union, a sacred union of the light within and the light in the world.

There is en-lightenmnent.

There is intimacy with the Divine.

We are making love with life, life is making love with us.

If we can stay in our body a little longer…
