This piece of cloth, like so much that comes from the dark, is magical, mysterious.
It does so much.
It becomes a portal to worlds of sensation.
It’s a cloth of liberation.
It’s a cloth of presence.
It’s a cloth of both suntletyand intensity.
Which, for a few centimeters of black cloth, is amazing.
But then, when we’re willing to go into the dark, into the inner dark, into the secret places, we find such treasures.
We’re using this on the forthcoming Liquid Touch, as we do at other events.
When our eyes are covered, we go inside of ourselves.
We feel more, much more. Our sense of touch, the sensuality of touch, of feeling, is heightened.
It takes so much judgement away, brings us into the presence of connection and intimacy with no story.
Which becomes a space of freedom, liberation from so many inhibitions, limitations, fears.
We touch, we feel. That’s all. And that’s huge.
It helps us be curious, explore, discover, without thought.
I’d almost say it has an element of truth, this simple black cloth.
It takes away labels, definitions, analysis.
It draws us into what is, what’s right before us, what’s at the tips of our fingers, beneath our palms, against our belly.
It allows us to feel this moment, and all that’s in it, and in a breath, there’s a whole new world before us, as the tide of sensation flows in another direction.
And when we feel a hand, hands, a leg, on our bodies, there’s an intensity of sensation, a wonder, an excitement, a curiosity.
And we just feel. The sensation.
We receive it in a deeper way, directly. There’s nothing between us and the touch.
And when we remove the cloth, it’s as if we’re in a different world, a world of beauty, of acceptance.
A knowing without the story, just the feeling, the heart.
Come and join us in the celebration of touch, of connection, of sensuality.
