I spend more time in connection, in sessions, before doing anything.
In connection, something arises rather than us deciding what to do.
I spend more time teaching about connection than teaching what to do.
I spend more time in the awareness that what we do, without a time of connection, without a depth of connection, has a level of emptiness.
A depth of fulfillment, in intimacy, and in pleasure, begins with connection.
Connection, if we do it, is something that we might pay lip service to, something that we might spend a short time doing, on the way to something else.
More and more I see the power and importance of connection.
From connection, in connection, something arises, flows, emerges, from an unspoken, even unthought, place.
It’s the way we begin to change our patterns, to come into greater presence.
It’s the way we open ourselves, each other, the space, the experience.
It’s the way we move into loving, into sensuality, pleasure, eroticism, sexuality.
Connection is more of the body than the mind.
Connection is where we approach our partners, our lovers, from.
Connection is the inner space, where the body says yes before the mind.
Connection is the intention.
Connection is where the quality of an experience is.
Connection is what’s inside the touch, inside the kiss, inside the…
Connection is where the heart opens, and how much flows from there…
This is something that on the surface is simple, to connect.
First with ourselves, then with a lover.
And from that, others, life…
What resides in connection is intimacy, the spirit of intimacy.
There’s something in this, an energy, that reaches out on a level that’s simply knowing.
It touches something inside of us that’s about being.
Connection is one of those secrets and it’s only a secret because we don’t really get the power of it, what id does what it has.
It’s mystery and wonder.
It’s healing, and that’s a power of connection that’s really interesting.
It heals so much, by us being in connection.
An element, one of the biggest, of connection is presence.
And more and more I see the power of presence, the superpower of presence.
A little on the healing of connection, in relationship.
There’s a saying, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
That’s what connection is, what connection does.
Connection is what keeps channels open on so many levels.
Connection opens ways of communicating that keep us more present with each other.
In this, we’re able to clear more, with greater ease.
More in a nervous system that’s relaxed, open, than stressed and contracted.
That’s one of the things that happens when connection is a regular practice.
When it comes to pleasure, connection is, well I’ve said it before, this is, and I get this is sounding like a gospel, connection is where it starts. (I might actually use that as a title, the gospel of connection.) And that’s what opens the door to the depths that we seek, to the places that we’d like to go, the feelings that we know are within us.
What happens when we take time to connect, deeply, is this.
So much of what we do sexually is patterned, conditioned. The same thing in the same way, again and again.
Connection firstly allows something to emerge, to arise, something that’s more creative, more in the moment, more an expression of what’s alive, sensually, sexually, erotically.
There are threads that run through so much of this journey, sexually, spiritually
This is one of them, and we tend to overlook it.
When it becomes regular, a practice, in many ways, we see the impact the power, the possibility, that it holds for us.
The portal it becomes, to depth and intimacy, pleasure and energy.
I’m sharing a workshop in a few weeks, Conscious Sensual Connection and Intimacy, I invite you…
