I’d like to share a story with you.
It’s one of so many that happens.
All of us who do this work have so many experiences to share of how this heals, changes, releases, transmutes, transforms…
It’s a story of how Conscious Erotic Massage helps heal and move things that are not sexual.
There is such power, such possibility in the Conscious Erotic Space.
It opens, and opens us, through touch, intentional touch, to so many things.
When we are deeply relaxed, when the body is open, when the heart is open, when energy is flowing, the nervous system comes to a place of release, of re-wiring.
A place of moving experiences from the stressful, the traumatic, to a place of reframing.
The place they’ve been held in, the shape they’ve taken within us, the contraction, tightness, pain, fear and more that the experience has been in can soften.
And in this, something moves.
Something within us shifts.
It happens in the body, then it comes to awareness.
The body holds the story, in so many ways.
So it’s through the body that the release must happen.
As much as we may talk about it, process it, analyze it, maybe even understand it, it has to move in the body.
The touch, and when we add the dimension of pleasure, we’re adding a superpower of transformation.

It’s not about making something happen, it’s not about forcing the energy, it’s not about a goal.
It’s about what’s present, and where the body goes.

Almost everyone I work with, at some stage says the same thing.

In time we come to see how much they’re the same.
For many of us sex is an act, we do it. It ends.
Sexuality is who we are, part of life that flows through everything, just not always in the way we think.
It’s life-force, creativity, vitality.

It’s generation, regeneration.
Constantly, endlessly.
So much changes when that lands.
Here’s the story.
It wasn’t planned.
It had no intention other than a conscious sensual touch experience, an intimate experience, a heart experience.
It was part of a massage experience, 3 people.
Connecting, then each one being touched by the other 2 for 20 minutes.
The touch was not directly sexual, it didn’t ignore the genitals, they were included in the same way the whole body was, not the focus.
It was a pleasure experience, which, as hard as it is for some of us to understand, is very different to a directly sexual, genital, orgasm experience.
Pleasurable as in intentional touch on the whole body, not bypassing or leaving anything out.
This particular configuration was 2 women and me.
After the massage, whoever received it was held by the others.
One of the women, at this time, being held, our hands on her heart, went into a release experience, tears, body trembling.
The emotion and energy moved for a long while, then settled.
What she shared was this.
Her parents never touched her, she grew up with very little affection.
Lying there, between a man and a woman, having experienced touch that was loving, unconditional, giving, all the lack she’d felt was released.
The words seem so simple, yet it was a hurt she’d carried for over 40 years.
The process seems so simple, it’s not.
