It connected to something I’ve been thinking about for a while.
The Penetration of Life.
The Opening of Life.
The Invitation of Life.
Every moment of life is an invitation, a seduction, a penetration, an opening, a welcoming.
Every moment is an intimacy.
With ourselves, with our bodies, with our senses, with our breath.
Life is sex, sex is Life, expressed in the delicious awareness of sensuality.
In this awareness, the more we live it, feel it, the more it becomes our natural state.
It’s not something we do, it’s something we become.
It’s something we are.
Sensual.
Lovers.
We tend to see this as being separate from everything else in life.
Our sexuality is something we take out, we use, we put away again.
For some of us we need to blow the cobwebs away, oil all the parts, when we don’t use it regularly.
This separation is also the separation of the body and the heart, the mind, the spirit.
When we live in sensuality, we live in seduction.
When we live in feeling, we live in awareness.
Everything in life offers itself to us, to experience, to express.
We penetrate it with our eyes, with our touch, with our words.
It opens to receive us, to draw us in, to draw us out.
To welcome us.
The awareness of this, the giving of ourselves to life, life giving itself to us, becomes a dance, a constant dance of possibility.
It’s a dance of presence, of movement and stillness, of savouring and feeling, of contracting and releasing, of connecting and dissolving.
And it’s always intimate.
There’s a presence in this, we learn to use our whole body, our senses.
When I talk, where do the words come from inside of me? Can I talk from my heart, can I talk from my belly, can I talk from my Lingam?
Can you listen with your heart, with your belly, with your Yoni?
What’s the resonance of the words, the energy?
When I do this in life, I can do this in pleasure, and when I do this in pleasure, I can do this in life.
The same can happen with our eyes, our touch, our taste, all of our senses…
It’s about movement, flow, understanding that everything is moving, changing, all the time.
Sometimes it’s so subtle we’re hardly aware of it, and sometimes it’s a wave crashing over us.
It’s the constant pulsation of the body, cells dying, cells being born.
It’s the ebb and flow of love, of desire, of hunger and satiety.
I am full, in every way, I am empty, a vessel for the next wave, the next breath, the next feeling, the next thought.
And all of it, seducing me to step into the moment, into the mystery.
Subtlety, nuance, sensitivity.
Taking me deeper, expanding me.
You open to me, I fill you.
We dance in the sea of possibility.
