‘Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.’
I’ve been thinking about what I do, what this journey of sensuality, sexuality, eroticism, intimacy and energy is.
I’m not a sex coach, I’m not a pleasure coach, I’m not an intimacy coach.
I’m not going to give you a recipe or formula to have better sex, be a good lover, have a better relationship, whatever any of those things mean. I’m not going to heal your sexual problems, blockages and inhibitions.
You’re going to.
What I can share with you, in a world that’s just looking for quick fix, for easy answers, and 1, 2, 3 steps, is the road less traveled.
A road that’s been traveled in many different ways, by explorers and adventurers, with their own feet. Their own bodies, their own hearts. Not just theories and formulas they’ve learned.
The road, this road, is the road of, often painful, and hard learned experience.
It’s a road that never ends, as it understands that as we walk it, we change, our lives change.
What was yesterday may be no more today.
What worked before has no feeling now.
It understands that because it’s a road of life, it needs to be alive. And a moment of digression, the phrase Alive Sexuality, keeps coming.
Alive is that the seasons, the body, the mind, the heart, changes.
Things die, are born, awakened.
And the more we try and hold on to the patterned and the conditioned, the more disconnected we become.
This path is a guide, a framework, a perspective.
It’s flexible, fluid, it dances to, dances with, the ever-changing rhythm of life.
And the more we try and lock pleasure, sexual energy, eroticism, sensuality, into an often small box, the more it stagnates.
This is a path that, as mysterious as it seems, and sometimes it is, actually offers extremely practical tools to the journey. Just not in the way we think.
Because it’s not rigid.
It’s not locked into a way of being, a way of doing, a way of living, a way of loving.
It’s not a passive path, it’s not done to you, for you.
It’s a path we walk together.
Desire ebbs and flows.
The river of love travels smoothly now, then rapids and waterfalls.
There is so much today, which vanishes tomorrow.
The map of this inner terrain, and that of love, relationship, sex, needs to be read differently.
The map of the body, of the heart, is one of symbols, of light and shadow, of seeking, longing, yearning…
Of giving, receiving, taking, sharing…
What?
It’s a path of creation, a path of space.
Of creating the space for love, for pleasure, for intimacy, to live in, be in, dance in, play in.
That’s all we can really do, when we drop the illusion of control, the limitation of expectation and the attachment to outcome.
Which makes it a path of discovery rather than narrow formula.
There’s not one way.
There’s a way for me, for us, let’s explore that.
And when we come to a place that feels like it’s blocked, we’ll have the tools to discover the way forward.
It’s a path that might have a greater truth because it’s not going to tell you which way you should go, which fork you should choose.
And if we’re honest, sometimes each few steps bring us to a fork, with more than just 2 paths.
And when we have a different compass, a Waze that’s of an expanded dimension, we can navigate these choices, and the possibilities they bring.
It’s a path that’s an invitation, an endless invitation, every moment.
The formula is very much an outer expression, and one of its limitations is that both the inner and outer world change.
The path of invitation is going within, to go more outwards, wider, further.
It’s the place where these can meet.
These words are, a way poetic, they might seem to say much.
Yet this is a path of deep practicality, of immediately usable tools.
It’s not rooted in the way it should be, rather than the way it is, and the creation, the development, of what could be.
Of who we are, in life, in love, in pleasure.
I invite you…
