I get messages, emails, questions and enquiries from people in many countries, as I’m sure do many of my colleagues.
These are coming more and more as so many of us are looking for, longing for a different way of living, of loving.
So many of us are seeking possibility.
Many of these are from people experiencing sexual blockages and issues.
Many of these are from people struggling with guilt and shame about their sexuality, sensuality, pleasure and intimacy.
Many of these are from people who live with some deep inhibitions and embarrassment.
Many of these are from people who don’t know how to communicate what they want.
Many of these are from people who have so many questions about sexuality and no open forum to ask, to share.
Many of these are from people who’d like more, who know that there is so much more.
Many of these are from people who experience a disconnect from their bodies, their hearts, their sexuality.
Many of these are from people looking for the connection between sex and spirituality.
Many of these are from people confused about their sexuality.
Many of these are from people who fear revealing their sexual selves, their authentic desire.
Many of these are from people looking to be part of an erotic community.
Many of these are from people looking for a way to explore their sensual, sexual, erotic selves.
These are the issues so many people live with every day.
And they hurt, deeply.
They hurt our bodies, they hurt our minds, they hurt our hearts.
They hurt our relationships, they keep many of us from relationship.
In so many parts of the world, sexuality is judged, repressed, shamed, hidden and wronged.
And sometimes it doesn’t matter where you live, it’s so much of an inner experience.
And in our world, sexuality has one of the greatest levels of suppression, judgement and shame.
In seemingly open societies, these issues are present in so many of us.
In bodies, hearts and beings that cry out, that yearn for connection and intimacy, acceptance and love.
With the desire for expression, there is such a loneliness, such an aloneness.
Often such despair.
Sometimes self-loathing.
What is supposed to be about pleasure and joy, the delight of sensuality, the celebration of sensation and feeling, the bliss of the body, the ecstasy of sexual energy, has been distorted and sullied, shamed and hidden.
Sexual Healing, and this is a very wide term, is life-healing.
Our sexuality is not in a vacuum.
It’s connected to all aspects of our lives, of who we are.
It’s linked to our health, our physical health, our mental health, our emotional health.
It’s linked to our nervous systems.
It’s linked to our self-worth, self-confidence.
It’s linked to the relationship we have with ourselves, and our bodies.
It’s linked to how much we value ourselves, accept ourselves, like ourselves, love ourselves, and how much we can share that with another.
It’s linked to our inner peace.
It’s linked to our creativity, our vitality, our life-force.
It’s generational, and as much as we heal for ourselves, that frees our children not to live with same hurts, patterns, limitations and conditioning that we have.
Sexual Healing is a liberation, a freedom, for us to express the fullness of who we are, with safety and openness.
For us to open to the possibility of experience, of exploration, of discovery.
Of learning and growing.
Of bring all of ourselves, our tender, delicate selves, into the world, to be seen, to be held, to be felt.
For us to love, to be loved.
In these groups, these forums, there are many paths of possibility, many ways to make this journey.
I offer mine, as one.
And I look forward to sharing with you as we create a world, firstly an inner world, of connection and acceptance.
And expand that into a world of possibility, of experience and presence that honours the beauty, the power, the vast range of sensuality, sexuality, eroticism and love that dwells within us.
