There is a touch that wants nothing
And wanting nothing
It becomes a touch of permission
It becomes a touch of liberation
It becomes a touch of love.
Touch is a language of the body that conveys so much, beyond words.
It tells us of the intention in the touch.
And so often the intention of touch is that of wanting.
Wanting something, even wanting a reaction.
We feel that inside, our body knows, our heart knows, there’s a sense of what’s in the touch.
And as soon as that’s there, that awareness, there’s a contraction.
There’s a transaction.
There’s an expectation, stated or implied.
I’m receiving this to give that, in some way.
Sometimes it’s a reciprocation, touch for touch, pleasure for pleasure, orgasm for orgasm, orgasm for penetration…
Sometimes it’s a reaction, praise…
Our conditioning, our patterning, our unexpressed expectations, our stories, often keep us in a loop of unfulfilled expression.
We give from the place of we think we should, keep the peace, appease the ego…
This giving, and receiving, is so often with a goal, an ending…
There is a place within us, an awareness, of wanting nothing other than to express itself.
And when this is shared in touch, it becomes a touch that allows the fullness of receiving, the fullness of letting go.
It becomes the space of savouring the body.
It becomes the space of luxuriating in sensation.
It becomes the space of indulging in feeling.
It becomes the space of surrender to energy.
When nothing is wanted, when nothing is expected, we have freedom to the depth that we’ll allow ourselves.
That’s the permission, that we give ourselves.
And that’s the journey, the inner journey, letting ourselves go, beyond constraint and inhibition, into limitless possibility.
That’s the journey, releasing ourselves from should and have to, from the way it has to be, from if I do this, give that then you must…
We flow from the transaction of sex into the presence of pleasure.
There are 2 journeys in this.
There’s the journey of learning how we give, what’s in our giving, what are expectations, the controls, often subconscious, that we have.
Then there’s the journey of learning to receive, to let go.
To peel away the layers of holding on, of contraction and tension.
To deeply, fully, allow the expression of our bodies in all their wondrous sensuality.
This is where we give ourselves permission to explore, to discover.
Permission to experience, to feel.
Permission for so many different aspects of ourselves to be expressed.
Permission to dance with what’s awake, what’s alive, what’s present within us.
Permission to be in this moment of sensation.
Touch becomes a guide.
Touch becomes a teacher.
Touch becomes a healer.
Touch becomes a lover.
I invite you to learn, to experience…
