THE YONI MASSAGE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE

Share

Yoni Massage has become one of the Neo-Tantra Quasi-Spirituality Buzzwords.

And what many are offering as Yoni Massage is P**** Massage.

Which is fine, for what it is, and it’s a far experience from Yoni Massage.

I’ve been offering and teaching Yoni Massage for many years, and my relationship to this, my experience with this, my understanding, has changed so much.

There’s not just one Yoni Massage, there are so many different expressions of this beautiful ritual.

And recently I’ve received so many requests from people, pretty much all men, wanting to learn this.

The question that I ask in the discussion we have is what is it that we’re wanting to learn, and what are some of the differences.

For most of us, and I’ll share a story that illustrates this, we want to learn a technique.

A while ago after I’d shared this with a woman she went home and told her partner about it. He said, Can he teach me that?

Meaning the technique, the movements.

What it brought to mind is that Yoni Massage is a spiritual experience.

It’s a meditation of touch.

It’s a worship of the body, of the heart.

One of the key understandings is in the word itself, Yoni, Sacred Place, Divine Expression.

Yoni Massage is more of an awakening than anything else.

Learning this, and sharing it, is more of an inner expression than anything else.

It’s not so much someone doing something to someone else.

It’s certainly not goal-oriented to orgasm.

It’s a deep expression of connection and energy.

Of following what’s present in the body, not making something happen.

The orgasm-based, friction massage, harder, faster, till you come, is far from the intention of touch from the heart.

This is a ritual that begins with intention, connection, with eyes, breath, words.

It’s an offering, a conversation.

The conversation requires listening to the body, which means stillness, quiet, slow, to be able to hear, rather than continuous and increasing stimulation.

When the offering is in service to the Divine, through the portal of your body, it’s not about making something happen, it’s moving into presence.

It’s opening the space for what’s within you, the limitless expression of the sacred, to emerge in the physical.

One of the places we’ve got lost is pleasure, where it’s become all about the pleasure, and in many experiences, the climax of pleasure.

Which, for most women, is a contractive experience, the building of tension, the explosion, the release.

And it’s not that Yoni Massage is not pleasurable. It can be even more so than many of us imagine.

It’s about so much more.

For when the goal is pleasure, in the limited way we generally experience it, we miss so much.

We miss so much sensation, so much feeling, so much subtlety.

We miss so much energy, so much release, so much opening.

And we miss the very subtle invitation to the deeper places of a spiritual experience.

Learning the anatomy is vital.

Learning the techniques are important.

And more than that, learning that these are just the opening of the door.

These are just the beginning.

These are the invitation.

Taking this from a purely physical experience, into something deeper, is the inner journey, my journey.

Learning about energy, learning about intention, learning about space, learning about service, learning about intimacy, learning about safety, learning about ourselves, learning about healing…

It’s pretty easy to bring someone to orgasm, make some come, whatever phrase you like, with a little bit of information.

And even just knowing a little of the technique will set you far apart from the way most women are touched.

The deeper places, the deeper experiences, the possibility of this being an expression of the sacred, that’s something different.

This is a big topic, we’re touching the surface, we’re just beginning, with this.

Come and and experience, come and share, come and learn, come and journey within, I invite you…
