Touch This Body

Touch this body in prayer
Touch this body in worship
For this is sacred ground

Approach with reverence
As you look upon the beauty laid before you
Rest your hand with tenderness
And feel
Feel your heart
Feel your heart open
Feel your heart open to the flow
Feel your heart open to the flow of love
Feel your heart open to the flow of love from a place deep within you
A place beyond you

In a silent moment acknowledge the holy within you
And allow your hands to tell of this
For in this moment of connection you see the mirror
The sacred reflected within you, through you
And as you touch another, they know, deep within, they know
A place beyond mind, they know, even for a moment
That which dwells within them

Touch this body in prayer
Touch this body in worship
Allow your hands to greet this skin, this heart, this mind, this being
Allow your hands to soothe the hurt, the pain it carries
Allow your hands to gently open it to receive the love offered
Allow your hands to be as a deep breath, a moment in, and the release, the relaxation
Allow your hands to tell of the beauty they feel
Allow your hands to slowly part the armour, to ease the mask away, to lighten the load it bears
Allow your hands to be the voice of that beyond you

Touch this body in prayer
Touch this body in worship
Breathe
Feel the pleasure
Feel the pleasure within you
Feel the pleasure within you stir
Feel the pleasure within you stir and flow
Feel the pleasure within you stir and flow into your hands
Allow your hands to tell of that which breathes and lives and burns within you
Allow your hands to slowly kindle this fire
To give it life
Each stroke a warming, a flame added
A liquid heat, spreading, opening, expanding
The life force flows, fills, expands
The boundaries of this body melt
We go beyond our flesh
We see that this physical casing is merely a portal
Its blood, its nerves, its muscles serve to take us
Take us deeper, higher
And then they are no more as the wave of pleasure engulfs us, wraps us in sensation, in emotion, in a moment of being that lasts an eternity, takes us into the swirling space where the Divine dances

Slowly we return
Slowly we feel our breath
Slowly we feel the weight of being
Lighter now
For every visit to that Sacred Temple of Pleasure leaves its shimmering within us

Touch this body in prayer
Touch this body in worship
For this is sacred ground
