Something landed for me with quite a Thunk! last week.
It’s actually been there for a while, and really made itself known.
I write a lot about Yoni, and Lingam Massage.
I do a lot of that in my work.
And I am not teaching these nearly enough.
For healing, for pleasure, for growth, for energy, for intimacy and more.
It’s time to change that.
And I’m starting next week with a webinar on the Beautiful Mystery of Yoni Anatomy.
So many of us have such a disconnect from our genitals, and a relationship that is, at best, functional.
At best, which is that many of us have a relationship with our genitals that is disconnected from our hearts, from the rest of our bodies, that is judgemental. The judgement comes from the myths of porn, of the mainstream media, from advertisers who have convinced us of the way your Yoni should look, should smell, should taste. There are so many vested interests in keeping this insecurity, this disconnect.
Then there’s the functional.
Which is that we’re concerned that everything works.
And here’s where it gets interesting, because if we look at functional as potential, so much changes.
If functional for some of us is a deeper, higher experience, the potential for that is within all of us.
An example of that would be, let’s say, Cervical orgasms. The potential is there, it can happen, and does, for many women.
And through healing, learning, growing, experiencing, the possibility emerges.
Healing this disconnect, and making the relationship with our genitals more conscious, more accepting, and ultimately more loving, begins with learning about our, and our partner’s Yoni. This is such an important part of claiming, and reclaiming our body.
It’s a vital part of the first Yoni healing practice I teach of Greeting Your Yoni.
Knowing what you’re greeting, what you’re looking at, what you’re touching.
Knowing yourself.
It’s exploring the mystery.
It’s taking ownership.
My Yoni.
My Lips, My Clitoris.
And then going deeper.
My G-Spot, and more.
Knowing what these places are, where they are is the first step in awakening.
It’s the first step to deeper pleasure.
And so important for release, for letting go of what’s been hurtful, painful, to open, to soften.
And so often at these lessons we hear people say, Now I know why I feel this.
And why I don’t feel, what blocks the sensation, the aliveness. Where the numbness and the contraction sit.
Understanding the anatomy of Yoni also creates a context, a connection.
She is Yoni in your body, nerves, blood, muscles, energy.
How important the connection between cervix and throat, through the vagus nerve is, for example, and the impact that has on pleasure.
Yoni and Heart.
Yoni in your body as part of everything you are.
Yoni of creativity, of generation.
So important to know her.
So when we touch, when we caress, when we enter, we know.
Her shape, her form.
A sacred space.
We know.
As we know her, we come to know ourselves.
And in time, with love.
